List the finished product, manufacturing process and required properties. Ask whether rigidity, clarity, flexibility or impact resistance is most important. Then share any food-contact, electrical or other approval requirements with the supplier. A polymer family is only the beginning: the manufacturer’s grade data and your own production trials complete the selection.
